How to read these standards

Context beats raw numbers

A 4.85 forty for an offensive lineman and a 4.85 for a wide receiver are two very different results. Standards are position-specific so every athlete is compared to the right cohort.

Benchmarks are targets, not verdicts

Meeting a benchmark may indicate readiness for a level of competition — it is a training compass, not a recruiting promise. Verified results always carry more weight with coaches.

Benchmarks are educational estimates based on available data and should not be interpreted as recruiting guarantees. Benchmarks are educational comparisons based on available results, position context, and recruiting level. They are not guarantees of recruiting interest, scholarships, offers, roster spots, or admissions outcomes.
